Children’s Miracle Network Classic

The final event in the 2009 PGA TOUR season will once again be contested in the shadow of Cinderella's castle, as the Fall Series concludes with the Children's Miracle Network Classic at Walt Disney World Resort in suburban Orlando, Fla. 2008 winner Davis Love III is scheduled to defend his title against a strong field of golfers, many of whom are fighting for playing privileges on the PGA TOUR next year.

Tracking Tiger

Tiger Woods wrapped up his 2009 season with a perfect 5-0-0 record in the President’s Cup, as the US team beat the International team 19 ½ to 14 ½.

Tiger Woods hoisted his 2nd FedEx Cup trophy with a 2nd place finish at the TOUR Championship. Phil Mickelson collected his 37th career PGA TOUR victory in Atlanta but it wasn't enough to catch Tiger Woods who finished the PGA TOUR Playoffs at that the top of the FedEx Cup points list. Tiger Woods won the inaugural FedEx Cup in 2007 and did not participate in 2008 because of a knee injury.

Tiger’s win at the BMW Championship is his 6th victory this season and his 71st PGA TOUR title overall. Earlier this year, Woods passed Ben Hogan and Arnold Palmer. Jack Nicklaus is second on the list, with 73 career victories. Leading the way is Sam Snead, who amassed 82 titles between 1936 and 1965.
